Lambton College
Sarnia’s Lambton College offers a range of degree, diploma and certificate programs, as well as microcredentials. Areas of expertise include applied research technology, health and new sectors such as bio-industry. The e-sports entrepreneurship and administration program at Lambton is part of a college-wide initiative that includes the creation of a varsity e-sports team and a world-class gaming arena. In 2023, Lambton opened a school of nursing, which offers an honours bachelor of science in nursing and diplomas in personal support work and practical nursing.
The $14.2-million upgrade on Lambton’s Centre of Excellence in Energy and Bio-
Industrial Technologies added 7,000 square feet of training space. The 60,000-square-foot NOVA Chemicals Health and Research Centre hosts health sciences programs, interdisciplinary and applied research, a 40-bed nursing lab, two intensive care units and two simulated advanced care suites. Rounding out the campus makeover is a new athletics and fitness complex, which includes a gymnasium with seating for 1,200 fans, a VIP booth, a fitness studio and rooms for athletic therapy. In September of 2025, Lambton will open a new Indigenous outdoor gathering space that will host cultural events and ceremonies, as well as provide a space for Indigenous students to socialize.
