New Brunswick Community College
New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) offers more than 90 diploma, certificate, trades, university transfer and academic upgrading programs. Its diverse roster includes carpentry, industrial mechanics, aquaculture and respiratory therapy, as well as a variety of post-graduate programs. The college has six campuses across Fredericton, Miramichi, Moncton, Saint John, St. Andrews and Woodstock. There are Indigenous student gathering centres at four of the school’s campuses.
The school’s applied research program engages students in projects that focus on 3D printing, drone technology, energy efficiency, advanced welding, teaching and social innovation. Recently, NBCC started the FAST NB campaign, aiming to address a skills shortage in the province. The program connects skilled immigrants with companies seeking workers.
In 2023, NBCC created a mobile training centre to take in-demand programs to rural communities in New Brunswick so students can learn without the financial burden of moving away.
