The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) is a hotbed of industry-driven research, delivering education in science, technology, the environment, business, health and skilled trades.
At the heart of the main campus in Edmonton is NAIT’s largest building, the Feltham Centre—a 555,000-square-foot behemoth with 57 classrooms and a 135-seat lecture space, 11 student lounges, numerous study areas and restaurants, and an outdoor quad. The centre is also home to some of the country’s most advanced simulation labs, including the Centre for Advanced Medical Simulation: a state-of-the-art interactive and interdisciplinary hub creating practical clinical situations. The 190,000-square-foot Productivity and Innovation Centre (PIC) is an industry-led setting for research and development in business innovation.
With nearly 40,000 credit and non-credit students, NAIT offers more than 90 programs that lead to degrees, diplomas, certificates and microcredentials. In the fall of 2025, NAIT is launching six specialized media and IT programs, including digital design, narrative cinema production and software development. NAIT’s Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre provides Indigenous students with access to a network of support services, including Elders.
