The University of the Fraser Valley offers a range of degree, diploma and certificate programs, as well as trades and vocational programs, at locations in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission and Hope, B.C., and a growing presence in Chandigarh, India. Students enjoy small class sizes and can choose full-time, part-time or online studies in a structured or flexible program tailored to their needs. UFV also offers several experiential and career-focused learning opportunities. “At UFV, we’re proud to be a gathering place for learners, leaders, and seekers,” says president Joanne MacLean. “With a strong focus on regional access and community impact, we offer hands-on education and workforce training to meet the needs of both local and global communities. Our dedicated faculty and supportive environment empower students to achieve their goals and thrive through their entire educational journey at UFV.” The Abbotsford campus is home to the student residence, fitness centre, main library and student union building. The Chilliwack campus focuses on health sciences, agriculture, trades and technology. This campus features an Aboriginal gathering place, part of UFV’s commitment to Indigenization in its curriculum. The Mission campus recently underwent an $8 million revitalization and features the new 264-seat school of education, a library, community spaces, and local Stó:lō artwork. UFV has a thriving international education department and offers co-op education options in 18 subject areas. The school is also known for offering challenging research opportunities at the undergraduate level.

Campus Buzz: A $20-million expansion of the dining hall on the Abbotsford campus is underway, along with a new $105-million residence, set to open this year, which will triple UFV’s on-campus capacity.
