The 100% final
I’m getting an excellent mark. Or not.
My Developmental Biology course has a 100 per cent final. It’s the first class I’ve ever had with that kind of marking scheme, and I’m not sure how I feel about it.
On one hand, it means if I get a good mark on the final, I’ll end up with a good mark in the course.
On the other hand, it means if I do terribly on the final, I’ll . . . well, we know where this is going.
