Now, Quinnipec University is leading on the latest front and banning all eating contests.
The University claims this latest attack on fun is necessary because, according to the school’s director of the student center and student leadership developmen, a students died at another university while participating in an eating contest.
US News and World Report picked up the story. However, USNews could not find any news report of a student dying while participating in an eating contest.
