UWO profs ratify collective agreement
Faculty vote 86% in favour of deal
University of Western Ontario professors have ratified a new collective agreement by a vote of 86 per cent. A strike was only averted after an 18-hour bargaining session with the administration resulted in a tentative agreement on the eve of the union’s strike deadline. Details of the new agreement will be released once it is approved by the board of governors on November 16.
