The new Conservative MP continues to lament for his choice of occupation.
He throws up his hands to say: “Politics or no politics, I’m never prepared to say something in (the House) that isn’t true or that I don’t believe or feel accountable for. God bless our democratic system, but I’ve taken about three torpedoes already.”
… During a lifetime of work, he says he’s made mistakes but believes that, overall, he’s dedicated his life to public service.
“Then all of a sudden they treat you like a common criminal.”
