Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding will be small

The royal wedding by the numbers: 3,500 people were there when Harry’s parents got married. A small fraction of that will watch the prince marry Meghan Markle.

For months prior to a royal wedding, people speculate on everything from the dress to the cake to the guest list. This year’s couple departed from royal traditions on the latter score, inviting fewer guests than some of their royal predecessors.

Instead, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opted to ask people from the general public to the grounds of Windsor Castle to “feel part of the celebrations.”
