Video: Dropping the NHL puck and hopping into Ron MacLean’s truck
Watch Adrian Lee talk to Canadians, from Mark Messier to Jeff Marek, about what puck drop means to them
The cooling temperatures, the buzz in the air, the chants from the jersey-clad masses: that’s right, NHL hockey had returned.
We took a trip into the heart of Toronto to Dundas Square, which the NHL converted into a hopping hockey central for a day, to find out what puck drop means to Canadians.
While we were there, we also took a quick tour inside Ron MacLean’s Hometown Hockey truck, the cozy mobile studio from which the host will present his Hometown Hockey segments from 25 locations across the country.
