Ben Silverman Ruins World, Life

ABC won the rights to revive "Circus of the Stars," but now they’re killing the project. Why? Because NBC, having lost the bidding war (over Circus of the Stars?!?!), picked up the show "Celebrity Circus" and got it into development before ABC. Faced with the severe depletion of the washed-up celebrity talent pool, ABC has deprived us of the chance to see Ben Savage on a high wire or Charo suspended over a shark tank.

This, then, appears to be Ben Silverman’s master plan: if he can’t make NBC popular, he can at least ruin things for everyone else.
