Canuck in DC watch: Jack Layton
The NDP leader will be in town Monday to address the big annual liberal/progressive convention, the Take Back America conference, to speak about "the need to secure improvements to the North America Free Trade Agreement."
He’ll be speaking at 1pm at the OMNI Shoreham Hotel, at 2500 Calvert Street, NW, in the Regency Room. He’ll be partying it up on Tuesday at the 7pm gala dinner as well.
No word yet on whether he’ll have any secret chats with Austan Goolsbee.
