Gone Fishin’

As regular readers of this blog may have noticed, and I believe I know both of you  by name,  I’ve been absent from the website. I’m 10 days into a one-month retreat/vacation, in a cabin on an empty lake in the Laurentians that has no phone and no Internet. Well, there is cell and blackberry reception a few minutes down the dirt road, but for all intents and purposes I’m off the grid. Except when I drive ten minutes into town to the local community centre that has free computers with broadband. Where I am now.

What I’m trying to say is that I won’t be blogging until, oh, late August. At least not about movies. If I read a good book and the urge to communicate strikes, I might type something and take into town and post it. Or I might not.

Have a good summer. Eat up those blockbusters. Come September, movies get serious again.
