a) Why we shouldn’t be too anxious for variety shows to come back and
b) How the Establishment managed to co-opt the hippie free love stuff and turn it into old-school entertainment.
In fact, depending on what year Matt Weiner wants to end the show, this could be a deeply symbolic ending for Mad Men.
