Thoughts In Verse On The Opening Oscar Number

Brian Johnson is liveblogging the Oscars, and he liked the opening medley much better than I did, but I just had to say (to the tune of "Frere Jacques" by way of Allan Sherman’s parody "Sarah Jackman"):

Poor Hugh Jackman, poor Hugh Jackman, What a night. What a sight. Did you hear his medley? It was kinda deadly. This ain’t right. Where’s Snow White?

Poor Hugh Jackman, poor Hugh Jackman,

That was wrong.

Not too strong.

Maybe they were silly

Not to hire Billy

For the long

Opening song.

Oh, well, at least it’s not the Oscar show where Frank Sinatra beat Frank Fane for Best Actor.
