Laurier Freethought Alliance to be granted club status
I just spoke to the President of the Wilfrid Laurier University Students Union. Dan Allison tells me that the Laurier Freethought Alliance will be granted club status by the students union.
According to Allison, the original denial was an "administrative misunderstanding" stemming from the application submitted by the students forming the LFA.
He says they are resubmiting their application and making clear that they will accept anyone to their club, not just atheists and the like.
(For background info on the rejection, plus visit the blog of Anatoly Venovcevwho is one of the students forming the group.)
