After 40 days of campaigning, an endless supply of polls and projections, and millions of votes cast, Maclean’s presents the Shape of the House—a visual dashboard that illustrates exactly who Canadians are sending to Ottawa. We’re tracking the gender, age and ethnic diversity of Canada’s newest MPs—and charting how many Indigenous people and LGBT Canadians are winning across Canada. We’re also keeping tabs on the number of rookies in the House.

As results roll in, we’ll update these charts in realtime. Every time a winner is declared, they’ll pop up below. Stay tuned all night, and check back for final results the next morning. (If you see n/a, that’s because we don’t have specific demographic information for those winners.)
