Maclean’s Live: Canada2020 tackles Aboriginal economic development
Paul Martin, Perry Bellegarde and Mary Simon take the stage
Canada2020 takes over the Château Laurier’s Drawing Room for a day-long look at Aboriginal economic development—and, in particular, how to remove barriers to success in Canada. The audience will hear from Mary Simon, the co-chair of Canadians for a New Partnership who used to lead Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami; Perry Bellegarde, the National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations; and former prime minister Paul Martin, who now leads the Martin Education Initiative.
