Woman wounded in Colorado shooting miscarries

A pregnant mother who was shot in the Colorado shootings, and lost her daughter in the massacre, miscarried on Saturday.

Ashley Moser’s 6-year-old daughter Veronica was he youngest person killed in the movie theater, reports The New York Times. Moser herself was wounded in the attacks.

Colorado law suggests that state homocide laws will only apply to a person who is "born and was alive" during the crime, and not, therefore to Moser’s unborn baby.

The family says they’re still making plans for Veronica’s funeral.
