...we have shocking news. Nicolas Sarkozy is actually falling in the polls. In one poll from before his super-fabulous glam brilliantly-lit rococo TV interview last week, he’s down five points to 32. In another poll from after the interview, he’s down two points... to 38. Discrepancy aside, my point is that Sarkozy is getting close to a situation that had previously only been observed by astrophysicists using the Hubble telescope: Negative popularity. Pretty soon, Sarko will be so unpopular that thinking about him will make you more popular. Also you will age more slowly than your twin. It’s hard to explain, but it’s coming.
