Forward in productivity
It’s really not much fun until an anonymous senior Liberal is cited, though in this case the comment may already be moot. More important, we learn a bit more about what we are to understand from the word productive.
A senior Liberal echoed the sentiment, saying Mr. Harper and Mr. Ignatieff had found common ground after the first meeting, but that a few issues have yet to be ironed out. “If more can be done, then they’re on the right track,” said a Liberal source. “‘Productive’ typically means forward,” added Jill Fairbrother, a spokesman for the Liberal leader.
