Ms. Meahan urged me not to write a story damaging Ms. MacDonnell. Ms. MacDonnell then called me and urged me not to do so. She suggested I could write the story without saying how I came into possession of the recording. I told her I did not believe I could do that. She suggested that she could give me information that might be more valuable. I told her that I did not believe I had a choice but to publish the information I had. She hinted that there could be a lawsuit.
