Mike Duffy’s appointment to the Senate in December 2008 launched the talk-show host’s new career as a top Conservative fundraiser, campaigner and occasional parliamentarian. Sen. Duffy found his way into town halls and campaign events during his years-long stint as the Tory’s go-to frontman whenever the party wanted to raise cash or trawl for votes.
